  1. Great job with this, as always. Those last couple of pictures are pretty scary, he has indeed lost a ton of weight. Agree that he was good in BERNIE but my favorite role of his will probably always be the Sheriff Buddy Deeds in LONE STAR.

  2. You know, I’m slightly ashamed to admit it, but I kinda liked him in Sahara! It was a fun film!

Last year’s Killer Joe really impressed me. Looking forward to seeing him in Mud and also Lincoln Lawyer – got it recorded and waiting to be seen.

    • Sahara was a fun movie, although I can’t remember much about it anymore.

Killer Joe really showed him differently. I’m pretty sure you’ll enjoy Lincoln Lawyer.

  3. McConaughey’s the kind of guy that despite his good looks I just don’t find attractive at all. I quite like him in The Wedding Planner, yes I know it’s a rom-com but for some reason it was pretty sweet. He’s good in The Lincoln Lawyer, too.

  4. Hi, Nostra and company:

Matthew McConaughey started getting my attention as Denton Van Zan in ‘Reign of Fire’, because I didn’t recognize him until well into the film.

Showed great potential as a close to tough guy in ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’. And is just starting to branch out and make his marks in ‘Frailty’ and ‘Killer Joe’.

  5. It’s great to see McConaughey having a resurgence of sorts. My favorite role is still Wooderson, but I would put Killer Joe a close second now.
