With the summer months having started, it is that time of the year that a lot of people are finally are taking their time off. This week’s my question is a simple one:
If you go on holiday, do you also take a break from blogging?
Personally I will be planning some posts during my time away, but I will be checking in occasionally if time allows it.
Probably but then again. I tend to write as I prefer to keep myself busy.
Yeah, I agree that it is a nice way to keep busy!
Unfortunately, I’m not the type to mix work with vacation. If I take a break from work, I take a break from work. I enjoy the entire break and only resumes work once I get back.
I try to as well, but the temptation of new comments and writing about something you have seen is big for me š
As you can see, I have a hard staying totally offline while on holiday (as I am as I write this comment). Usually it’s just reading my email while away on holiday/vacation, and occasionally checking in with some of the blogs (like yours) I follow ;-).
I have that as well, so I can understand that! I am going to try to do a bit less, but we will see if I manage to succeed.
Well normally when I go on holiday there’s no internet so the choice is taken from me š

Yes, I take a break from blogging. I may setup some posts to go live while I’m on holiday, but I do not check comments or write something while I’m off.
I will make sure I will set up some as well, but I will probably not manage to stay away.
Good question. I always try to keep blogging when I’m on break, though I typically don’t see as many movies so I mostly analysis posts and news bites.
I am planning to take some movies with me, but I’ll see if I have time to watch any…
I don’t usually write when I’m on vacation, but I plan ahead and set up a few posts for that time. My schedule is pretty hectic with the kids and everything else, so I’m usually working this way and don’t have to adjust very much. I do try to check in and respond to comments most of the time.
Sounds pretty much what I try to do…
If I’m on holiday on holiday, nope. I might tweet a little bit or post the odd photo to G+ but that’s about it. If I’m seeing my folks in Portugal, yes. I need something to keep me occupied!

I don’t go on holiday often, but I usually don’t even think about blogging when I do.
Part of me wishes I could do that…
I’ll probably not write anything whilst I’m on holiday but I may comment a little or respond to people. Depends what kind of holiday it is. If I’m away abroad then I won’t do anything but if it’s just a few days off work then I still might.
So you still do a little bit now and then…
