The second part of Snabba Cash continues the story of the criminals introduced in the first part. A couple of years after the events of the first movie one of them is released from prison. Hij has plans to better his life and stay away from criminality, but unfortunately that turns out to be harder than expected. What came to pass in the first part has had its impact on others resulting in bigger roles for minor characters from part 1. Revenge, quick money and double-crosses are the order of the day again.
The movie is filled with violence and tense moments which have been shot in raw beauty. The background of the characters is further explored. Jorge is back in Sweden and has made new plans to get rich quickly. While setting up his plan he meets a prostitute who he decides to save. It is a challenging choice, because the man she belongs to won’t simply allow that. If you enjoyed the first movie than this movie offers more of the same, which in this case is not a bad thing at all. The movie has all the ingredients you’d expect from a crime thriller and with the story lines of the various characters and all the violent action the ending shows up quicker than you’d expect.
