Cameron Diaz was born on August 30, 1972 in San Diego. She grew up in Long Beach. She started working as a model at age 16 and did campaigns for Calvin Klein and Levi’s. Her first role was in The Mask opposite of Jim Carrey which immediately launched her career. She did various movies after it and was even going to play in the Mortal Kombat movie but had to pull out because of an injury. She played in A Life Less Ordinary, My Best Friend’s Wedding, There’s Something About Mary, Being John Malkovich, Very Bad Things, Charlie’s Angels. She was the voice for Princess Fiona in Shrek. Other movies she has starred in include The Holiday, What Happens in Vegas, The Box, Knight and Day, The Green Hornet, Bad Teacher, The Counselor, The Other Woman and Sex Tape.

She’s not that good an actress but I still love her. Stellar in The Counselor.
Although I didn’t like that movie she had a role in that which you will not forget quickly because of “that scene”

She has always done some of the riskier stuff (and I didn’t even write about the video she did before her movie career started ;))
While I like her in Being John Malkovich, Gangs of New York, and In Her Shoes plus Bad Teacher and A Life Less Ordinary.
I think she’s overrated at times and often gets by with her looks and personality where it can be distracting and most of the films she’s been in are crap.
I never thought she was very attractive, but I do think she can be very funny and is good in the movies you mentioned (those I’ve seen)
