2 Days in New York (2012)

There are various actors who make the step to directing. Ben Affleck and Clint Eastwood are good examples of it. Julie Delpy is an actress who also has appeared both in front of and behind the camera, with 9 directorial movies to her name. 2 Days in New York is a sequel to 2 Days in Paris. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008)

After the success of the first Madagascar, in which four wild animals from the New York zoo end up in the wild of Madagascar, it is no surprise that a sequel would be made. The lion Alex (Ben Stiller), hippo Gloria (Jada Pinkett Smith), giraffe Melman (David Schwimmer) and zebra Marty (Chris Rock) decide to leave the island (together with the penguins) to return to New York. Death at a Funeral (2010)

Death at a Funeral is a remake of the english version which was made in 2007. I have not seen the original, so I really can’t compare the two. I did see the trailer of the original and it shows the exact same jokes as the remake. The movie has a many big stars, like Chris Rock, Danny Glover, Martin Lawrence (who I think just isn’t funny), Zoe Saldana, Luke Wilson and Tracy Morgan. Continue reading
