My Filmyear: 2018

2018 is behind us, which of course means the moment to look back at it. A year which was a bit different for me as a blogger since I decided to take a break from it, which ended up lasting for a couple of months. It gave me the time to do other things, like gaming and reading, but I decided to continue after a while. It got me in a new groove just writing whenever I feel like it. But time to get to the good stuff. What were my favourite movies this past year, what were the worst ones I saw? Continue reading

My Filmyear: 2012

Overview of the movies seen in 2012, best worst and favorite films

As the year is almost at its end, it’s time to look back at the past year, both in blogging and in movies.

At the beginning of the year I had three movie related New Year’s resolutions:

1. Try to see more movies at the cinema
2. Having seen at least 225 movies out of the IMDB top 250
3. Write more articles (instead of mostly reviews)

2010, another year that has passed, which of course is always a nice opportunity to look back at the past year. It’s the year in which I’ve started writing this blog and have ended up with writing over 200 reviews. With all that writing my passion for watching and enjoying movies has grown even more. While looking back it is inevitable to also write down some lists. It has taken quite a lot of time to go through all the movies I’ve seen this year and decide which ones to include. If I would make the list in a month it would probably be a little different, but you have to make decisions. I’ve seen exactly 300 movies this year (which means that I saw one every 1.2 day), which makes it hard to choose your favorites. The image at the start of the article, which you can click to enlarge it, shows almost all movies I’ve seen this year. You will notice that I have not been able to review them all. Continue reading
