    • Yeah, ever since I saw him in The Wire I thought he was cool. Which is probably still my favorite role of his. It’s been a while since I saw him in RocknRolla, so can’t remember his part!

  1. Elba is sooooooo hunky!! I’ve loved him since his role in Rocknrolla, what an awesome duo w/ Gerry Butler, I’d love to see those two team up again. I think that’s one of my fave roles though he’s awesome in Pacific Rim, too!

  2. Ha ha, he was great in RocknRolla, and he made the most of his small role in Prometheus, but I still always think of him most fondly in Pacific Rim. Frankly, he was awful in the equally terrible Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. Man, that film was a dog turd.

  3. Idris Elba has huge potential. Thought he walked away with his role as Stringer Bell in HBO’s ‘The Wire’. His scenes early on in Business and Econ. classed at UMBC were a hoot. As were his business meeting with street slingers following Robert’s Rules of Order.

Also like his role as ‘Luther’ and as Mumbles in RocknRolla’ very much.

Would not be surprised if Mr. Elba will soon be groomed to be this generation’s Morgan Freeman. He definitely has the chops and talent for it!
