Yesterday’s battle looks very interesting as currently Hans Gruber is winning from Bill the Butcher. I will keep the voting for that battle open for a couple more days, but for those who already voted, there is another good one today. I decided that it would be interesting to pit these two against each other. Personally I immediately have to think of the discussion in Clerks 2 about these movie series. Time to cast your votes.

Do I have to say anything about him? He was responsible for one of the most shocking reveals in movie history and responsible for a lot of deaths.

Darth Vader is the ultimate baddie! Whilst Saruman is cool, Christopher Lee is amazing, he just can’t complete with Vader.
We’ll have to find out if he will be the ultimate baddie in the end of the battle 🙂

Well, we now know from ROTS that Vader, before he became more man than machine, killed innocent kids with his lightsabre! Pretty bad. But then he did redeem himself at the end of ROTJ, which is more than can be said for Saruman. Mmmm, harder than I thought!
He is evil and the question is if he really redeemed himself at the end of ROTJ? Just imagine that this was a real person, would you suddenly feel better about him?

Yeah I think Sauron would’ve been a more compelling one than Saruman, at least they both would be in the same league!

An absolute obsession for black outfits and accoutrements. Deep voice. Scarily tall. Wicked cool dark use of The Force. David Prowse’s best role. Even if it was voiced by James Earl Jones.
