Antonio Salieri
Salieri was a composer who was envious of the talent Mozart had. He tried to sabotage him regularly and the question is whether or not he was responsible for his death.

Norman Bates
Psycho was a very interesting movie and the appearance of Norman Bates was one of a very disturbing bad guy. From the moment he appears on screen you get the feeling something is wrong with him and at the end of the movie you can’t be anything but disturbed.

Oh come on! What did Salieri do to qualify for this? This should be a cake-walk for Norman Bates.
Well, there are enough people who think he did kill Mozart (just look at Last Action Hero ;))
I’ve looked at Last Action Hero twice already. That’s more than enough for me. 😛
Hahahaha, it’s not a movie I want to see every month but don’t mind rewatching it every couple of years.

While Salieri leaned more towards psychological warfare against his nemesis. Norman was not at all averse to getting physical and messy,
Bates was really scary one!
Salieri ends up regretting his actions in the end, while Bates always thought what he was doing was the right choice. This is an easy choice.
Well, regret isn’t always the right reason to let something slide, but I understand your reasoning 😉
I’m going to pass on this one, Nostra. Haven’t seen either film… Psycho is on my ‘to watch’ list though I’m not sure which film Salieri is from?
Salieri was in the movie Amadeus, which like Psycho, you really should check out!
Bates wins, simply because he is equal parts scary and creepy. Not to mention one of the most iconic characters in film history.
He is both indeed, I probably would go for him as well…
